DS has this- basically hives on his skin that keep coming and going. It was bad last Summer and I took him took the doctor. He prescribed a month's antihistamines. This seemed to settle the condition and as we didn't want him taking them all the time we stopped and luckily they didn't come back- from about August to March. Then fast forward to mid March and he has the rash pretty consistently again. Sometimes it flares up and seems bad, other times it's minimal but still there. Thinking of taking him back to the doctor, thinking it will be antihistamines again, but wondered if any Mums or doctors out there had any advice. We thought we'd cracked it first time when we changed over to non-bio washing poweder, but now I'm wondering if it's something seasonal with the weather getting warmer. It also flared up in the cold weather if he was poorly- eg heavy cold/ear infection etc but I see this as a separate issue to the rash he seems to now have permanently.
