Does infant nurofen make your child cough when they take it?

No, but they always say that you should avoid it if your child has asthma...

Dd is 21 months and doesn't have asthma as far as we know. She just coughs for a short period of time after taking it.

YY - have you tried it? It makes me cough too. Don't know why but it does, and does the same to my two kids.

I would avoid unless necessary (eg allergy to paracetamol)

Makes both of mine cough, even the big one sometimes and he's nine now (usually give him a tablet instead). Strange eh?
