Blood in vomit?

My DS (19moths) vomited after his milk today at 2pm. The whole lot came back up!
Since then he has not been able to keep anything down.
He's absolutely fine in himself- wants to play, no tempreature etc

The only thing worrying me is the vomit was brownish the last few times. He has nothing in his belly so guess its a bit bloody.

He's sound a sleep now but I'm worried wheather I should take him to A&E??

Anyone else experienced this? On hold to Nhs direct now, Could it just be his stomach lining?

Thanks

NHSD will send you to A&E.

When you say brown. Did it look like coffee ground?

Very light brown, not blotchy.

OH on phone to them now, he seems fine now. Fast asleep!

If he's sick again we'll get to A&E

Lots going around right now. Is he managing to drink/have wet nappies?

I was very poorly once and ended up vomiting blood. It started as brown streaks but started to become all blood that I was bringing up (sorry if TMI!). I ended up being hospitalised to stop me vomiting any more and let my stomach lining (which is where the blood came from) heal. If it were mine, I would take him to A&E, I'm afraid. It was a hideous experience for me as a grown adult, and small people deteriorate so much faster than us.

Hope he gets well soon

Wet nappies still. Can drink a little water but won't sit still so most of it is coming back up!

Fingers crossed he's better tomorrow!
