Hello - my rarely ill one year old DD has been sick on and off this week - any ideas? DP and I are fine. Here's what's happened:
Tues - sick after swimming - I thought she swallowed lots of water, and she was unusually very stiff and cold afterwards, wouldn't eat lunch, then was sick in the afternoon, no more food, bed at 6.15, slept til 7
Wed - ate normally until she refused her 5pm tea - but was very very clingy and grumpy throughout the day, bed at 6.30, slept til 7
Thursday - ate normally, much sunnier mood, bed at 7
Friday - woke her at 7am to find she'd been sick in the bed at some point but seemingly hadn't cried or woken. (TMI - it was just a few mushrooms from the night before - how weird, nothing else.) Gave her half a BF, that came up, gave her some sips of water, that's come up. She's currently asleep, and has been for about an hour.
No other major symptoms, although she's been sleeping longer at night these past few nights and has got very red cheeks. Can't get anywhere near her with a thermometer, but I'd say no fever.
Thoughts on what it is, how best to treat? It doesn't feel like a GP visit just yet, as she's been well between Tuesday and today.
