I had a thread on here the other day because dd was ill and I was worried.

She developed a rash along with everything else, so took her to the doctors who diagnosed her with a virus. Prescribed paracetamol to be taken 4 times a day.

Anyway she is turning her nose up and sometimes spitting out solids, and not drinking her milk properly, and not drinking her juice properly, she is normally such a good eater, so you can see why I am worried. She hasn't really eaten much besides milk really (well as much as I could get in her)

I should just go back to the doctors again shouldn't I?

I just feel like I am doing everything wrong!

If she's got a virus then She would be off her food, just like adults when we get I'll. As long as she's taking some fluids and having wet nappies I wouldn't worry. Offer a little bit of something often.

Hope she gets better soon.

Keep pushing fluids, offer food if she eats great if not dont worry. DS went a week and ate nothing when he was 12 months, hospital didnt mind when they got him drinking.

Thanks guys shes a lot better than she was mostly, she's alot more vocal than she was on monday, and not sleeping as much as she was. I do keep trying fluids, sometimes she'll have a bit of juice, other times she will just chuck her juice bottle on the floor.

With the solids sometimes she'll swallow, then she'll put her hand in her mouth and take it out. I think she might have a sore throat as when she coughs she gets upset :( breaks my heart to see her ill.
