DD just finished a course of amoxicillin for an ear infection (which involved a febrile convulsion and trip to A and E, nasty). She is now complaining of a sore bottom (and pointing to the front). It looks very red and i wondered if this is thrush triggered by the antibios? If so can we get away with treating it at home with yogurt or should i be sensible and head off to the GP? Help - anyone been here and can advise?
