Extra milk teeth

It appears that my DS1 (nearly 4) has extra milk teeth coming down above/side of his upper molars. His front teeth are now overlapping slightly. Will of course see the dentist about this, I'm not that suprised as my brother and grandad both had extra teeth (both milk and adult).

Anyone else have experience of this? They took my brothers out as a young child but this was some 30 years ago so wondered if they were still likely to?

Thanks

DS1 has an extra tooth - they don't do anything with milk teeth unless it's causing a real problem

with adult teeth they may take some out - just depends how crowded they all get

In the meantime it's just rather expensive for the tooth fairy Grin

thanks. he doesn't seem like its causing pain but they are pushing his teeth and making front one's overlap. can see 2 definite extra's and think he has a lower one too. hadn't thought about the tooth fairy!
