Not sure if this is where i'm supposed to ask this but dd is meant to have mmr and unfortunately just got over a cold and now has just a bit of husky voice left over from it. She cant tell me how she feels obviously but seems chirpy, I'm worried health visitor will just want to give it anyway, would people put it off and its first dose does it make them feel unwell?

I had this with ds recently as he had a cold and a swollen gland on one side.

Nurse said that it was fine to do as long as they don't have a temperature or a chest infection.

It varies from child to child whether they feel unwell or not, but sometimes it's better just to get it out of the way.

If you are in any doubt, ask the nurse - they will not do it if they think there is any risk.
