Hi,

I am looking for some advice on my son. He is 2 yrs 9 mths and is potty trained (will only go on he potty). I am finding that he doesn't wee very often at all. He quite often will go several hours without going at all.

A perfect example is last Thursday he went at my mothers approx 2pm and I accidently left his potty at her house. He then didn't go again until mid-morning the following day, after she had dropped it back a couple of hours previously.

He doesn't drink a lot even though I leave drinks around for him. Even so, I would expect him to wee more than this. Am unsure where to go with this (sorry if I'm waffling!!!)

Any help would be gratefully appreciated

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

If you are concerned, please go speak to your GP. Some children have strong bladders (especially if they dont drink much during the day) - DS1 could go 8 hours between wees from early in potty training.
