potty training regression or something worse??

My 2 1/2 year old has been potty trained for over 6 months now, and aside from the occasional accident (which I expected) she has been really good. The last few days though, she tells me she needs a wee, crosses her legs so she can't walk, and by the time I get to the toilet, its too late. Its now happening every time, and I've been really patient and told her its okay. It happened a few weeks back, and I introduced a sticker chart and she went back to normal within a few trips to the loo, but nothing is working this time. There have been no changes in her life in the last month - everything has been normal, and she's not at nursery so there's nothing going on that I don't know about. I'm waiting for NHS Direct to call me back, but my husband died of a really rare cancer last year and I'm terrified that this is something serious, and its all starting again. Can anyone help with a worst case scenario? I need to be prepared if this could be something really bad.

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Does it hurt to wee? It could be a urine infection. See if you can get a sample to take to the doctors.

It doesn't sound anything unusual to me, they can get a bit bored at about the 6 month mark and start leaving it too late. Sympathies over your dh, it must make worries worse..
