My dd 3years started with a pimply rash on her face which looked viral and the doc agreed , got a bit worse took her back they wernt sure but gave her pireton , now it seems to ben just her cheeks. Almost symetrical , very red and warm to touch, im thinking it looks like slapped cheek but today her cheeks look swollen , right uP under her eyes, anyone had this ? I cant find anything that says the face gets puffy? Thankyou

when dd1 had slapped cheek she was very young and although her cheeks were red her rash was everywhere inlcluding palms of her hands and soles of her feet. Dds face was puffy - I still have a pic on my mobile as I sent it to my mum to see if she knew what it was. Her temp was high and she was floppy at 20 months. We walked into gp who laughed and said "well, someone's got slapped cheek!"
