Worms!! Help needed!!

My DD (age 9) has worms. My other children (4, 7 and 12) seem to have escaped. I have treated the whole family with Ovex and washed everything in sight, using brushes to clean their nails, making DD wear knickers to bed etc. Doing all the right things. My question is, how long should the ovex take to kick in? She took it Monday night and still every night she is up crying (sometimes screaming) in pain (she is fine and perky during the day). And even last night there were still live ones (yuck!). Has anyone tried Pripsen? Should I use it as well? I'm pretty desparate as I'm flying to New Zealand on Saturday and I would feel dreadful making her sit through a flight (27 hours) if she is still so uncomfortable. Any help / ideas gratefully received!!

i'm not sure how soon you can retreat, can you google it, or check packet instructions. They usually say to retreat 2 weeks later, which wont help you on your flight. Poor you.

My experience is the some children and are more sensitive in this area and feel it really badly. I think I may have resorted to phenergan in the past - mainly so that they can sleep through.

If you don't get an answer tonight - try reposting in the morning.
