DD not great at wiping bum after wee, she's really good at going on her own though. She also has little accidents on the way to the loo but doesn't always own up so has moist knickers for a time. She is now sore and a bit red, having a homey day today so can keep her very dry, is there anything else I can do.
She also has had an episode of constipation, her diet is good however I have been trying to give her syrup of figs, she hates it and runs away. I've tried prunes (yuk), any other suggestions.....?

Dried apricots are meant to help. Or how about a lunch of jacket potato and beans, that should help shift it Wink. And lots of water.

Could you get her some childrens loo wipes as well. I t might help her to be able to wipe a bit more thoroughly.

Thanks McPhee, she had loads of apricots yesterday so that's good. Water does seem to be a bit of a chore, I am persistent. I don't think they encourage it at nursery tho so will have a word. They just have a drink at meal times and DD used to drink all day long.
I'll look into kiddie wipes, great idea !
