My son is 2 yrs & 5 months, he has caught Viral gasterinteritus, Rota virus & now Rota virus again!! all in 3 months the first bug did not go for 3 weeks, we had a very tramatic birth & I just wonder would his immune systen be low??, or is it going to different soft plays? they are such aggresive bugs, he has vitamin drops & is still being breast fed at night, although wanting to wean as soon as he is well, what else can anyone suggest I do. we have stopped swimming since Nov. Thanks

Yes, I found soft play particularly bad as well as parties and general socialising (with infected toddlers getting over bugs (ie still contagious)

You can either become a hermit for five years (and believe me, as an emetophobe, that was very tempting) Or you can ride it out.

It does become better once they start school.

Hiya! My little one had several tummy bugs in her first year and I try to be really careful about taking off shoes, changing trousers as well as washing hands, when we come in from going out. I also carry antibac wipes wherever I go. Don't know if it works, but it makes me feel better!
