My daughter is 4 and im worried about when she goes to school fulltime in september as her wind is very strong sometimes and seriously foul smelling.
When she was about 2 she started struggling going to the toilet for a no.2 and over the space of about a week got severely constipated. The doctor put her on lactolose and over a period of about 6 months her bowels returned to normal functioning.
2 years on and she is frequent about once a day without the help of lactalose and not in pain but they are adult sized and she still has the bad wind.
I never thought it a problem as she doesnt have any problems going anymore but her wind can clear a room!! and I dont want her known as the smelly kid at school. (I know there are worse things but it still worries me)
Has anyone had anything similar with their child and is there anything the doctor can do about it???
