My ds, 5.3, has HSP. He was in hospital for 4 nights and is now back home on steroids. He seems much better in himself and we were told that it normally takes up to 2 weeks to get over and then another few weeks to get back to himself. He doesn't really have much energy and by the end of the day is struggling to walk. It's horrible to see him like this - like most kids his age he is normally so active. Does anyone have any experience with your own children? How long does it normally take to fully recover and what can we expect over the next few weeks. Just feel so sad for him at the moment :(
