How long for dd's sickness bug before I should worry?

Dd2 (6) has been throwing up since Monday and shows no sign of it stopping. It's probably every hour or so, less so when she's napping/sleeping. I'm managing to get her to sip and drink a bit of water. Her temp is up and down too.

She's never had a bug that has lasted more than 36 hours before. I know the GP won't recommend anything other than trying to keep temp down and giving water, but do we just sit it out? How long before I should do anything else?
Thanks

Is she ok in herself, or is she listless or showing signs of dehydration? I have taken DS to the doc on day 3 of a bug as was worried about dehydration, and got Dioralyte which seemed to help. Ultimately though it was just the passing of another day or 2 that 'cured' him. Trust your instincts though, if you want her seen then phone the GP, IME they will fit in an appt for a young child if only to put mum's mind at rest.

Hope she feels better soon.

Thank you. She is talking and watching tv but quieter and very pale. Also quite wobbly when she goes to the loo (understandably). But at least she's going to the loo. The rehydration sachets might be a good idea.

Thanks so much.
