My ds is 12.5m and has been under the weather for a few weeks now. He started nursery another ago and has had a runny nose pretty much all the time
Since then. He is also getting 2 new teeth, had conjunctivitis last week so had antib drops, and has had a cough for a few weeks too, which the gp thinks could be a sign of asthma. With all of this going on I was surprised that the gp said it would be ok to go ahead with the mmr plus 2 other jabs on Friday, but apparently as long as he had no temp it would be ok.

Since he had it he has been v irritable and unsettled, and seems more tired and cuddly than usual. He napped on me today and yesterday which is unheard of since he was teeny. He has has a slight temp today which came down with calpol. We gave him more before bed but have just took his temp while he is asleeP and is 38.1. Does this sound like a reaction to the jabs or something else? Bit concerned.

Ah poor little lamb. Sounds like he has had a bunch of things all come at once and like anyone would be he is fed up and not himself.

A high temperature is the bodies way of fighting infection as the heat makes it harder for the invading bug to survive. 38.1 is a slight fever but nothing too alarming at his age.

Sounds miserable, but I wouldn't be overly concerned if I was you, I'm sure he'll come through it fine. :)
