child burn injury

My dd suffered a burn injury last summer and is still and will be for some time receiving treatment. Does anyone else have a child especially a pre teen or teenager recieving treatment for a burn injury

Hi expertspudmasher. My DS was scalded at 18 months and was treated for the burn until he was 3.5. We're still under a consultant who he sees once a year as he may need plastic surgery when he's older. So not a pre-teen or teenager, but certainly one who has been through it.

Are you looking for anything in particular? How is your DD doing? Just as importantly, how are you doing? Burns treatment is horrible isn't it?
