DD (2.6) has been quite ill for a week now - fever and very sad for a few days (was checked by GP twice, no infection). Then threw up a few times. Dry cough and a cold.
Got a bit better the past couple of days, now fever is back and complains of ear ache.
This evening she has a bright red raised rash on about 6-8 areas of her body - arms, tummy and legs. Not itchy, very red, not bumpy. One bit on arm has a small single white blister, rest just plain red. She wasn't hot when she got it, and han't eaten anything unusual.

I'll take her to the GP (again!) on Monday, but any ideas in the mean time about the rash?

Does the rash fade when pressed? Does she have a temp?
Sounds like a viral rash from your description.

ShagOBite · 11/02/2012 23:35

It does fade. She does have a temp. I thought it could be a viral rash too, from looking at this (no. 35 was my favourite: 35. Do you have a blue or black area on your skin, and did the discoloration occur after the area had been hit? YES? This is probably a BRUISE. Grin )

Will it just go away then? Should I still take her to GP on Mon?

:o if she's still poorly with a temp might be worth getting her checked, although viral rash usually goes after 2 or 3 days.

Allot if virus's around at the moment, 2 of mine have one too, :(
