Should i be concered and seek medical advice or is this normal?
The right side is slightly swollem but the left is quite a large harder lump.
DS1 didnt have this so i am a little concerned but googleing has told me it is likely to me hormones from my breast milk. Could it be anything else that may need looking at?

Normal as far as I remember. All 3 of mine had it, don't worry.

get it checked out for your peace of mind

but it is most likely to be left-over hormones from you

My dd had swollen breasts and a little blood when I wiped her, my hv said it is residual hormones and absolutely normal - don't worry.

My DS had this - one slightly bigger than the other. I'd check with HV/GP just to reassure yourself though.

My DS had this when he was born... They felt very hard, like little hard peas. They went down after about 2 weeks or so.

my dd3 had swollen breasts for about the 1st month. They even leaked milk. Midwife/HV told me it was hormonal and nothing to worry about. Definately worth mentioning to your hv if you're worried about anything though.

HV also told me at the time that it was much more common in boys if that helps

Dd had this for nearly a year. My GP said that it can take 2 years for the hormones to completely leave the child's body.
