dd8 twisted ankle badly at school lunchtime so got in taxi to pick up early. Given painkillers but cant put weight on it, hate to add she is bit of a drama puss but it does seem jolly painful.
Q is would they do anything at aand e for twisted ankle or would you go anyway? Any advice would be really grateful, thanks, A

Minor injuries unit unless a miraculous recovery! Dont bother with your gp as he will only send you to the hospital as he doesnt have xray eyes!

Non weight bearing is a definite for an xray.

oooooh in a panic now should have gone straight from school. Will not bother with gp no but go to our local unit with an x ray dept. She sleeping now.
