Pancreatic insufficiency

Long story but my daughter has been put on creon for pancreatic insufficiency and although her digestion has improved etc I am worried as to why she has this.

She had a sweat test for CF about 2 years ago (she is 3 now) which was negative. Which is fantastic.

Anyone in a similar position?

thank you

one possible cause is autoimmune reaction to gluten, is she just on enzymes or also (maybe) gluten-free? My ds is gf and I have been looking into issue related to this.

eg see here

thank you that is really interesting, she is extremelly intolerant to most foods and is mainly on neocate but can oddly eat, pear, carrot, squash, pork and lamb. so yes hse is gluten free.

sounds sensible diet tumble, some people can be very susceptible to gluten damage (it can be caused by the autoimmune reaction)
