Rash on 5yo

My ds has a rash under one arm. Red and patchy with small raised like little pimples.
Any suggestions?

Sounds like a sweat rash -my 3 year old is prone to them. The GP prescribed Canestan. It's not serious but a GP won't laugh if you get it checked out - always best with rashes.

Am I putting too many layers on him then?
For school he has a singlet, shirt and jumper. Jacket when outside.
