and it was bloody brilliant.

Dd2 is 12 and i thought i'd left nits behind, but no, someone at her secondary school, keeps lovingly passing them on.

I begrudgingly parted with my tenner and got the nittygritty, fully expecting it to be shit, but have just gone through her hair and got more out than ever with any of the other combs.

So if anyone is having a nits crisis atm and hasn't got one of these, go and buy one now.

second person to mention these in the past few hours. thankfully we've yet to encounter this issue but I'm positive my time will come!

SauvignonBlanche · 29/01/2012 19:16

They're great!

ValarMorghulis · 29/01/2012 19:19

They are brilliant but DD's hair is very thick and it really does pull her hair. No matter how much conditioner i put on her the prongs are so close that they get the eggs out but they pull the hair too.

south345 · 29/01/2012 19:20

You can get them on
Prescription to save the £10 but they are fab cos they get rid of everything

StellaAndFries · 29/01/2012 19:21

They are brilliant, I comb through all 4dd's hair every Sunday and touch wood we haven't had any nit infestations in years.

tassisssss · 29/01/2012 19:32

ah yes, heard you could get these at the minor ailments clinic...

south345 · 29/01/2012 19:44

No you can get them from the gp too or hv, that's where I got mine.

TheOriginalNutcracker · 29/01/2012 20:36

Yeh I knew you could get in on prescription, and could have done with that really, but it takes ages to get an appointment with our gp, so I just went and bought it.

Have jut checked the back of her hair now that it is dry, and i can't see a single thing in it.

Going to repeat all week and then do weekly as Stella said.
