The build up to chicken pox?

Hi All,
My girlie (18 months) has had a couple of weeks of grottiness - D+V last week, conjunctivitis, off food (I would be too!), clingy & tired (Also teething which could account for food thing). Today she has started being sick after a cough, burp or food.
Her brother has just got over Chicken Pox (spots dried up a week ago).
Does anyone know if this could be the build up to the Pox or just an unlucky few weeks?
I know time will tell but I'm sending myself loopy with wondering/looking for signs!
Thanks.

Dd2 was sick two mornings in a row and went off food before her spots appeared. Two weeks to the day dd1 got them, no real symptoms from her though. She's 13 and has had an awful time with them. Sad

Incubation period for CP is about two weeks, so if your DS went down with it roughly two weeks ago (sounds about right if the spots scabbed over a week ago) then yes, I'd say there is a high chance it is chickenpox.

I'd say there's a high chance its chickenpox but only cos her brother had them, dd (14m) got them 2 weeks to the day after ds. It really isn't THAT bad ime at least, I dreaded it especially cos she was so wee but actually she had one bad night and her spots all came out in 2 days and were scabbed by day 5. Ds on the otherhand was getting newspots for 6/7 days.

Thanks.
Still no spots yet though... think it's a rouge bug thrown in to confuse me.
Poor little mite is sleeping, puking, sleeping, puking still. Water via syringe & NHS Direct called last night. The joys of parenthood!
