Ds who is nearly 5 is a very picky eater

He will not eat any veg and only pears apples and raisins

Yesterday he really struggled to poo

Previously they have been wee lumps of poo suggesting constipation

Am starting a food chart to reward for different foods to deal with pickiness but need to sort

But today after lots of fruit and water still lumps of poo.

Any ideas to try and resolve it naturally or will I make appointment to see doctor to discuss

Have suffered from constipation in past and it had led to all sorts of issues with me I don't want him to suffer.

Lots of snacks help throughout the day to stimulate the bowels often. The vegetable situation can be resolved by being tough....introduce a new veg every week and stick by the no pudding/chocolate rule until the plate is cleared! Also how about water melon? Most kids like this and you get the water and the fibre in at the same time!!

Plenty of fluids too. Also high fibre breads, cereals etc.
