My 5 month old has just come out of hospital after having suspected meningitis, fortunately it turned out to be a bad virus and/or a reaction to his booster jab. Whilst we awaited his test results he was given 48 hours of antibiotics. On his discharge the paediatrician recommended giving him a multi vitamin and probiotic supplement to help rebalance his system.
I bought some liquid Dalivit drops today that stated that they had, 'no added colours or additives', however on further examination of the pack it says they contain Sucralose. Does anyone know of a liquid vit, suitable for a 5 month old, that doesn't contain artificial sweetner? Also can anyone recommend a suitable probiotic? He is ebf at the moment, so would probably be adding the drops to some expressed milk.
Any suggestions? :)
