Rectal Bleeding 3 year old

My 3 year old DD has just shouted for me to wipe her bottom, and when I got to the bathroom I noticed a spot of blood on the carpet, and when I wiped her bottom there was a smallish amount of blood (it looked a bit diluted, perhaps by urine).

She is otherwise perfectly healthy - happy, chirpy, eating well and no complaints about sore tummy / bottom.

She poo's regularly - usually every day, and stools are soft, but formed. She has never ever suffered from constipation, and today's stools were otherwise normal for her.

I couldn't see blood in the stools, and her anus looks fine to me - can't see any sores, cuts etc

So, do I need to take her to the GP, or can I keep an eye on things over the next few days?

I'd keep an eye on her and see what happens.
