DD had her third lot of baby immunisations on Wednesday (she was 17wks, our surgery has a backlog). On Wednesday she was a bit sleepy but nothing major but since then she has been awful poor little thing. She has more than halved her usual milk intake, taking only 1-3oz at each feed and then refusing. Have offered her milk at other times but is not interested. She has a bunged up nose, diahrroea (sp) and was sick a couple of times on Thursday. She is taking ages to settle at night and then she has been up for 2-3 hours in the night.

I know all babies are different but did anyone else experience these side effects after jabs and for how long?

I should also mention that she cut her first tooth two days before the jabs and am also thinking 4mth sleep regression anyway????

GP had a look at her on Friday afternoon just because she'd only taking about 7oz in 12 hours and hardly any wet nappies but he said she was fine.

Thanks.

hexa package leaflet don't know if this is the one your dd got (should be in the red book), but they all are similar.

if any side effects worry you, report them to the yellow card scheme

oops, should be infanrix hexa vaccine.

Wasn't the GP worried that your child hasn't had much to drink, and has a dry nappy.
Keep an eye on the nappy, if it continues to be dry, I would advise that you take your child to A and E ASAP.

Thanks for your replies. GP was not at all concerned. Since we took her she has been weeing but probably not as much as she normally does but I suppose that's to be expected if she's dropped from 6/7oz to 1-3. She isn't showing any other signs of dehydration at all. I am keeping a close eye on her though, we have been here before with DD, she isn't the worlds biggest milk fan but we had turned a corner then this week arrived!! I just keep thinking that the side effects far outweigh the illnesses had she not been vaccinated. I just wondered if anyone's other DC seemed to get ALL the side effects!!
