DS is 3 months and is really beginning a daily massage. I've been using olive oil on him which I used on dd with no problems a couple of years ago. He's getting very dry skin on his lower arms and legs but not on his core or the upper parts of his limbs. His skin is just bumpy and dry but not flaky or weeping at all. It feels slightly eczemay but doesn't bother him in the least.

Could it be the oil? Could it be something else?

What else can I use as a massage oil which might improve his skin?

many thanks

My son has the same thing at three years. We moved to Diprobase which you can get from the doctor for free. Can't really say it has stopped it but seems more effective than olive oil. Would check with a pharmacist first before using any other preparations with him being so young.

You could try organic sunflower oil? It's what we used at our local baby massage group.
