Slightly worried about 5.5 year old DS

DS has been complaining off and on about tummy aches and his ankles hurt

It has been 3 times this week including this morning - have asked if it feels like he needs to go to the loo (he says not)

On Thursday, he was so pale with dark circles under his eyes and his teacher said he was a bit "peaky"

He isn't feverish and is eating ok

Any ideas? Just thinking I should maybe talk to my GP but it's all a bit non specific.

Growing pains? My ds gets pain behind his knees sometimes, and the gp mentioned it can sometimes be in hips too. Have you noticed it more at bedtime or after activity?

Hmmmm - hadn't thought of growing pains

Google it and see if any symptoms fit?

Googling can sometimes be counter productive!!

I think I will call my GP and see if they suggest bringing him in for a check over

Yes I meant google growing pains! When my ds was complaining of pain in his legs that's what I looked up and it sounded about right so I took him to gp
