Dd2 has been unwell for ages now, cough runny nose grumpy since before christmas. Sunday night she started to get a bit of a temp so started on calpol, made a slight improvement but by monday night I suspected she had a sore throat (not eating or taking bottles).

Took her to docs on tuesday and he said she has a very red throat but doesn't look infected so no anti-biotics.

She has been having regular calpol and nurofen since sunday night along with a throat spay since tues.

This morning she has had a full dose of calpol at 6am but her temp is still 38.9. Should I take her back to the docs or is he just going to tell me to keep on with the calpol for a bit longer?

Thanks both.

I'm taking her at 8.30am, her temp is still the same but her heart rate seems very quick. Will let you know what they say. Poor girl. It's her first birthday tomorrow :(
