Slapped cheek?

My 10 month old is generally unwell. Runny nose, cough, sore throat, tearful and more tired than usual. He refuses solids and has thrown up a few bottles today. His cheeks are very red but not hot, no temperature. Do these sound like the symptoms of slapped cheek? I can't find much that suggests he would be sick at the same time as the red cheeks appearing, the doctor just thinks it's a possibility.

Ds was unwell with what I think was slapped cheek, his face was BRIGHT red and I really do mean BRIGHT red. He did have a fever though.

The rash also spread all over especially on his arms and legs - not as solid a colour as on his face, more sort of 'lacy' iyswim?

Doesn't sound like it to me. Sounds more like teething with a general cold!

With slapped cheek there is usually a temperature, can be very high. Dd2's was over 41deg.

The rash was blotchy spreading over limbs etc. Looked like lots of bright red circle spots like bad sunburn until there were so many they joined together.
