My 11 month old has had a tummy bug for about a week now. I don't think its particularly serious as she has only been sick on 4 separate occasions over the week, but she she has been filling her nappy almost constantly with very loose or liquid stools.
I know how important it is to keep her hydrated, so have been offering her more breastfeeds than usual, plus extra water. How important is it that she eats solids? She wolfed down her dinner last night (fish fingers, peas and sweetcorn), so was obviously hungry but she then brought it all up again in the night.
Are there any foods I should avoid giving her, to avoid making her diarrhoea worse? (I obviously wouldn't give her anything too spicy, but what about fruit such as bananas and clementines? She usually loves them, but I've a feeling they'd just go straight through her!)
