Teething

Dd is teething I think? Anyway she goes to sleep every night and wakes up after an hour screaming nothing stops her except or iboprofen. So she's had medicine nearly every night for a week is this ok?

I would have a word with your health visitor. She may have other tips for management of teething such as teething granules, bonjela.

Theres nothing wrong with giving ibuprofen like this (I suppose calpol doesnt work?) but with any medicine it should be the smallest effective dose for the shortest possible time. Provided you have ruled out all other causes, fever etc then you don't really have much choice as you cant leave a baby in pain like this.
