Drink/food/saliva going down wrong way

My baby boy still has reflux, had it since was born, he is now nearly 8 months. When he has a drink or food, it always goes down the wrong way and he goes into a choke/coughing fit.
It's the same with saliva/dribble, it can go down the wrong way. I always thought was normal or put it down to reflux.
Is it normal? Does your baby do it?
It's all the time, during a bottle or meal, or even any time of day, which I guess is saliva going down onto his chest instead of his tummy.
