Chicken pox?

DS is 7 mo and woke up yesterday with small spots/blisters on lower legs and feet. Pharmacist said it was chicken pox and a trainee nurse we know said same. She also said that it's likely to spread etc etc.

Woke up this am and it's got no worse. He is OK within himself, bit clingy, but up until Monday had been REALLY unwell with teeth and tummy bug. SO I think it's just hangover from that.

ANy thoughts? Could it just be a mild case? MIL has declared it's flea bites Hmm or similar, but we don't have any pets and he hasn't been near any either!

from experience, the spots start on the trunk of the body and overnight they would have multiplied. also if it was chicken pox quite often there is a cough in the preceding weeks so it sound like you might have got away with it?

Thanks Viagra. They haven't multiplied, which makes me think it's just a VERY mild case or something else. Gone scabby though, which does makes me wonder Hmm.

Ah well. Time to enjoy christmas me thinks! xxx
