In growing eyelash on 10 month old

DD has had an in growing eyelash for about 6 months. I haven't worried about it as I thought it would sort itself out and didn't want to poke around her eye. It's never bothered her and still isn't really, but now it's slightly swollen with a bit of a spot like head forming.
In your experience will it sort itself or should I be heading for the doctors?

I was hoping not to spend Christmas day in a walk in health centre, so better safe than sorry.

I imagine i's goin to break for freedom, but you don't want to be risking an eye infection so I'd be in the doctors.

Or you could try and optician? Even for a 10 month old. They might have more experience with this than the GP and can refer you on to the hospital if required, same as the GP.
