ok just a rant before I go off and chant for a LONG LONG TIME.
but poor DD has the evil HFMD and her poor tongue is covered in raw ulcers making eating and drinking nigh on impossible. We are on day 4 is it going to get better soon or do we have to wait til day 7 before it starts to heal? thank you

My DS had this a few weeks ago - he's 14mo. It did seem to clear up a lot after 3 or 4 days. I resorted to putting Bonjela all over the teat of his dummy, the relief on his face when it kicked in made me feel so sorry for him :(

5 days and on 6th whoosh normal child again
Difflam spray. Avail over counter and dose according to weight.
Double up paracetemal and neurofen.
My DS almost admitted in hosp as he didn't eat or drink for 4 days
