Pink in poo? Might it be calpol?

My 17wk dd has begun teething. She had some jabs on Thursday and I gave her a dose of Calpol then, and then again last night along with some Bonjela. She has poohed five times today (very unlike her, she's normally once a day), they have been getting progressively smaller and more runny and the last one had a few pinkish curds in. She seems absolutely fine, perfectly happy but i'm a bit freaked out. Might it be the Calpol? I'm 99% sure it wasn't blood but can't help panicking a bit..

Call NHS / OOH if you're worried.

I've never known calpol do this, it sounds as if she has a bit of a tummy bug but I don't know what would cause the pink bits. It could just be that her wee bums a bit sore from so many dirty nappies and that's bleeding a bit?

Bonjela has castle oil in it, and if you use too much can cause more poet nappies, or dioreah (sp) so probably that, maybe with the bonjela the calpol wasn't injested, or maybe she's been chewing something pink?

Castor, not castle

Thanks for your answers. She's had a couple of poos since then with no pink in, I think she's picked up a bit of a tummy bug but she's on good form and other than the frequent dirty nappies seems the same as usual. Her nappy this morning looked fine but I'll keep an eye on her through the course of the day and phone OOH if there's no improvement.
