Fever, sick and runny nose

Yesterday DD (3) had runny nose, fever 39 and was sick. was off her food.
This morning she is quite sleepy and asleep on and off, fever has gone, hasn't been sick over night but not her "normal" self.

AIBU to keep her DB (young 8) off school cause I don't want to take DD out in the cold with her being unwell?
