Hello, after a bit of advice please:)

History - DD2 is 3, she has been ill on and off for 4 weeks now, general cold but absolute awful cough, no temp, took her doctors last week as worried but said she is fine. As it was she seemed a lot better the next day, still off food and very lethargic but better. Now for the last 3 nights she has been going to bed herself at 5.30/6.00 and going straight to sleep but then waking up very distressed, pacing up and down, rolling on the floor with tummy pain, you can hear her tummy gurgling, after an hour or so of this, she is sick, not much as she is not eating much, as soon as this is done, straight back to being fine and straight to sleep?
She is fine throughout the day, her poo is not runny, so I am 100% sure it is not a bug, could be wrong though, her cough has gone but wad thinking mucous, I really don't know.
I am going to ring the doctors tomorrow.
Thank you

I'd suggest mucas going into tummy from cough. Is she sleeping propped up on pillows or lying flat? If lying flat I think the mucas is a big possibilty. I know if she isn't eating much you can get sickness from acid/bile build up in stomach, especially over night. If not mucas, maybe try to tempt her with something starchy to soak it up just before bed? Some bread and her favourite spread? Maybe even nutella if that would get her to have it.

Glad you're calling the docs, hope DD gets better :)

Oops!
She is propped up at night, almost sitting whilst sleeping!
Just been through it all again, she is asleep again now, been absolutely fine all day, she has a doctors appointment in the am, so see what they say but pretty sure it will be mucas.
My house has been a ill house for 6 weeks now, everyone but me, I so want it to end, I am shattered:(
