Poo & red blood

In the past couple of weeks maybe two or three times after DD poos and I wipe her bum there is a bit of bright red blood. After a couple of wipes there is no more, so it's as if her poos are a little hard maybe?

I asked her whether it hurt when she poos and she says no. There is no poo in the toilet either, just when I wipe.

Do I need to worry?

Wouldn't worry but i would probably go to the Dr's.

They might not necesarily do anything but blood in your poo isnt normal. Could be internal piles, and she maybe just needs a bit more fibre and water in her diet to make her poo softer and easier to pass.

It's quite possibly a little tear in her bottom - they can get them if they pass a hard poo, or an especially big one. My DD had one and the Gp gave her some cream which helped it heal and stool softener medicine. It cleared up very quickly.
