Do I need to take DD to docs?

Hi my DD is just a couple of days off 1. Back in October she had a bad cold and refused all bottles for a week and a half and she did not really eat much food during this period. Since then she has been on and off her food and she has not really got rid of the cold. We did take her to the docs at the time because she had a cough for over 7 weeks, we had anti-biotics and although the cough is a lot better she has not fully got rid of it. She lost 12oz in a month because of being ill and has only put on 2oz in the last month. The HV has asked us to make sure we go to the next weigh in which obviously we will do. Yesderday she had 3 very soft and smelly nappies and nursery have reported that she has had another two today. She is ok in herself (apart from a runny nose and the cough) very chatty and smiley. She sings and dances all of the time and is mainly a joy. I am a little worried that something could be going on that we are missing, should we take her to get checked over just in case or is it just normal for colds etc to last so long? Thanks for reading Limy

Yes, I think after 7 weeks with a cough, she should be seen again.
