help and advice needed please

hi im jus asking everyone what they would do in my situation. my daughters 5 shes been wetting the bed for a long time which i thought was her being lazy but a few months ago i noticed lots of spots of blood on the bed. she has dark rings around her eyes, im bk and forth to the docs with her theyve done urine test after urine test but they come bk clear but there is still blood on her sheets when she wets the bed i demanded for her to be refered which has now happened but thats goin to take a while, shes on antibiotics at the moment but its still happening. has anyone experienced this and what would you. im so worried

You could always take her into a&e. I know this has been going on for a while but it might be a way to fast track investigations. My dd has kidney problems and any concerns re uti in the past have been treated as an inpatient because of the concern re damage to her existing kidney. The worst thing they can do is turn you away. Good luck.

I would try not to transfer your worries to your DD. Blood in the urine isn't necessarily a sign of anything more sinister, and you should give the anti-b time to work. She could have dark rings under her eyes because she isn't sleeping well what with the wet sheets and not wanting to get up and tell you? I would try to cope with the problem by being breezily reassuring that she will grow out of it, maybe try rubber sheets and pull ups? But would continue with referral for advice while trying to reassure DD this isn't anything to be unduly worried about.

However, maybe a medically trained MNetter will be along to better advise.
