slightly bloodshot eye after fall

I have noticed that my DD(2)'s eye is slightly bloodshot - not a patch of blood but more bloodshot like you get when you're tired or have red eyes. She did fall over this morning and although I didn't really see it probably she would havebashed her head a bit although there was no swelling, no bruise, she cried but that stopped when I gave her a biscuit. She has been absolutely fine since.

Could the bloodshot eye be just a coincidence or should I panic?
thanks

I would go onto the NHS direct website, but i ended up with a complete clot of blood in my eye, which basically covered my eye after being punched in it, and was taken to hospital and was told everything was fine. But, it might be worth going onto nhs direct just to double check. If there is no sign of concussion, i wouldnt panic. x

Think if the biscuit cured it then it's nothing to worry about. She may have bumped it, but as long as she is not in any obvious pain/discomfort it should be back to normal in a day or two. Smile

thanks, I came to the conclusion that it's probably because her fringe is slightly longer on that side after my dodgy hairdressing and is probably going into her eye! Blush That or the fact that she was up for a couple of hours the previous night and is just tired. It's completely normal again this morning
