seemingly endless vomitting bug

Dd and ds were ill for most of Nov with a vomitting bug. In both cases it lasted a week, went away for 4-5 days then came back again. Dd has been at school for over a week so we thought we were all clear. This morning she was sick again. Later she said she was cold and her fingernails and lips were blue.

Help! Should it be going on this long? I am at my wits end.

That seems a bit extreme, can you maybe discuss it with your GP on the phone?

Thanks 4nomore. It does a bit, I agree. I spoke to someone at the surgery this morning and now have an app't for both kids later this week. Dd seems much better today, but that appears to be no real guide to her actual health. Ds is fine..for the moment.

It really wears me down when my kids get one thing after another (or one thing over and over again) - it does happen sometimes Xmas Sad Hopefully they'll both do the usual thing and be A1 for the GP appt (but your GP will still take trouble to examine and discuss)

Thanks.
