DD is 9 months. This is day 4. She saw doc on Monday morning who said it was viral and to keep up the calpol and see it through.
Coughing so much she vomits- especially during/ after bf.
Still running a fever of 100+ that only comes down if I use calpol and neurofen.
BF as normal and still eating but not as much as usual.
Ok ish in the daytime as long as dosed up but delicate.

I suppose I'm looking for reassurance that it is not something serious like pneumonia.

I think I'd give it another night and if she's not showing signs of improvement tomorrow then go back to GP.

If she gets worse overnight do you have an out of hours Dr you can go to?

My much older daughter has a cough that has gone on weeks and I could see that if she was on milk still it would all come up again.

Is her temp above 39* if so, call for help, otherwise it sounds as if you are doing the right thing

Thanks. If no real improvement by the morning I will take her back to the docs. Have got out of hrs no. on hand if needed. Thanks. Just needed to check.
