My 7 month old has swallowed a sequin - should I be worried?

Quite self-explanatory really - it came off a toy he was chewing. Will it damage his insides? Do I need to search his stools to check it has passed through his system?

Size of sequin?

Unless it's huge I wouldn't worry about it. People eat pips etc with no ill-effects.

I wouldn't worry, and I wouldn't be poo-examining either.

This has made me think of the saying 'you can't polish a turd (but you can roll it in glitter)' though Grin
